Other Language Programs

Knowledge of another language is a fundamental aspect of sustained learning and individual development. In addition to degree programs in French, German, and Spanish, UMM offers a range of courses in several other languages, including:

You may complete UMM’s language requirement with one of these languages, and often you will be able to continue beyond the first year. Language study is a life-enriching experience, allowing you to engage with diverse communities both locally and across the globe. Moreover, familiarity with a foreign language can make you more likely to succeed in your major field of study. The above languages are an excellent complement to the coursework you will encounter in disciplines throughout UMM.
