SMARTBoard in #328
Posted by Peter Bremer on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013
An interactive SMARTBoard is now available in Briggs Library Study Room #328 for individuals and small groups.
Up to four individuals can interact with the SMARTBoard at one time using the special stylus or your own finger. Regular markers should not be used on it.
The SmartBoard can work with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, websites, flashdrive files or as a stand-alone device for content creation. Work can be saved to flashdrives, Google Docs or simply emailed.
The SmartBoard is available on a first-come first-serve basis. If the SmartBoard is turned on please don't turn it off.
There are a variety of tutorials available on the SMARTBoard computer as well as in the binder located in #328. Briggs librarians will be glad to assist with any questions.
Purchase of the SmartBoard was made possible through a MCSA technology funding allocation and is a joint initiative of Briggs Library and Disability Services.
