Two New African American Databases

Briggs Library has two new African American databases.

African-American Periodicals
This database spanning the years 1825-1995 features more than 170 periodicals by and about African Americans. Publications include academic and political journals, commercial magazines, institutional newsletters, organizational bulletins and annual reports.

Afro-Americana Imprints
This database spanning the years 1535-1922 provides researchers with more than 12,000 printed works from the Library of Philadelphia including essential books, pamphlets and broadsides.
