A book celebration will be held on Thursday, September 5 starting at 5:30pm in the LaFave House in honor of Associate Professor of English faculty member Julie Eckerle's new book, Romancing the Self in Early Modern Englishwomen's Life Writing.
Eckerle examines life writings from early modern Englishwomen exploring how these individuals were influenced by the romance genre.
The author will give a brief talk about her book at 6:15pm. The event is co-sponsored by Briggs Library, the English Discipline, the Division of Humanities, and the GWSS Discipline.
