Faster start-up, composite styles capability, duplicate item comparisons, improved find full-text and enhanced groups are just a few of the enhancements to be found in the new EndNote version X3.
If you've already downloaded and used the bibliographic software EndNote then you already know how useful it can be in organizing multiple research projects and creating footnotes and bibliographies in a snap. With X3 EndNote just got better. The new version is also a great way to be introduced to this powerful software made available by Briggs Library to staff, students and faculty at UMM.
Simply go to the library EndNote page. There you will find system and hardware requirements, download instructions, import/export filter instructions as well as current listings for EndNote tutorial sessions. Choose the appropriate download link for either Windows or Mac. If you have a previous EndNote version already installed it is highly recommended that you uninstall it before installing X3. EndNote is also loaded on all computer lab machines.
If you have any questions please contact Reference Coordinator Peter Bremer at X6173 and by email or Instruction Coordinator Jayne Blodgett at X6227 and by email. For a summary and short video of what EndNote X3 has to offer please go to tutorial.
