American Indian Boarding School Collection

Given the history and heritage of our campus as an American Indian boarding school the Briggs Library is proud to organize a collection focusing on this time period and important subject matter. The American Indian Boarding School Collection, located on the fourth floor of Briggs Library in Room 420, focuses on the American Indian boarding school movemnent throughout the nation during the late 19th and early 20th Century. Items are not available for check out.

Hours of access to the UMM Scholarship Collection are aligned with the open hours of the UMM Archives/West Central Minnesota Historical Research Center. In addition, a librarian can provide guidance and access to the collection.
