Ask A Librarian is a reference service offered by Briggs Library during regular Library Reference Hours. Priority is given to UMM students, faculty, staff and West Central
Minnesota residents.

networks and do not receive a timely reply please call the circulation desk at 589-6175 and ask to be transferred to a librarian. We make every effort to be available and have current
status updates, but in rare circumstances we may have to step away from the reference desk.

Send a text messaage to the library's AIM IM account by typing "265010" in the "To:". In the "Text:" area type "askbriggs:".

The reference desk is located on the main floor of Briggs Library near the public computers. A librarian would be glad to assist you during regularreference hours.

that's available to all Minnesota residents and students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
