Enrichment Grant Award Winners

Enrichment Grant Award winners were announced at the recent Briggs Library Associates Annual Meeting. Eleven Enrichment Grants were awarded to help strengthen content areas in the Briggs Library collection.

  • Life Writing-    Julie Eckerle

  • Experience of Gender & Sexuality-    Darcy Gabriel, Haley Van Cleve, Zach Johnson

  • TREC Children's Literature-    Hector Garcia and Keni Zenner

  • Afro-Latin Studies-    Tom Genova

  • Disability Awareness-    Amy Grant and Darcy Gabriel

  • Cuban Cinema-    Cory Schroeder

  • Archaeology, Art and History of Ireland-    Jimmy Schryver

  • World Literature in Translation-    James Wojtaszek

  • Fan Studies-    Tisha Turk



Enrichment Grant Award books will be initially shelved in the display area by the study tables on the main floor.

The highlight of the evening featured Poet Tom Hennen reading from his new book Darkness Sticks to Everything.


In other Briggs Library Associates news...Jim Togeas was elected Secretary of the Board of Directors, and Joan Boleman was elected Member at Large.
