Community Users
Community patrons are welcome to visit and utilize our library and
its services. We welcome all levels of involvement
from infrequent visits for locating specific data,
to regular borrowing for recreational reading, to
gathering local historical background from our Archives
and West Central Minnesota Historical Research Center,
to arranging for an information session for your organization's
program. We invite students from area schools to use
our resources for assignments and projects. For example,
Morris Area Elementary School 6th graders can utilize
our collection to gather information for their Minnesota
History Project. Obtaining a community library card is simple and
doesn't cost a thing. Stop at the main desk and complete a brief registration
form. Materials can be checked out at the same time. Students under 18
requesting a card need to have a parent or guardian's signature before the
registration is complete. The Briggs Library Associates, our
library friends' group, offers ongoing participation opportunities.
Whatever your needs, be assured that we're happy to see you and anxious to be of service.
If you have any questions feel free to contact the
library at (320) 589-6175 or visit our library Staff Directory
for a complete personnel listing.
