Cougar Cash Cards

Cougar Cash is one way you can pay for photocopies, laser printing, and color printing in Briggs Library. You may also print to the Circulation Desk by choosing the "Cash" option at 5 cents a page. Your UMM U-Card can also be utilized to pay for photocopies and print jobs.

Cougar Cash is the cash value stored on the magnetic strip of a UMM U-Card or Cougar Cash card. The Cougar Cash value may be used to make photocopies, microform copies in the Library, and to print from most computers in the Library as well as the other computer labs on campus, including the third floor library computer lab. Cougar Cash does not require a bank account and does not bill against your University account. It is value that you add and use yourself. Cougar Cash is available for the use of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors on the UMM campus.

When your Cougar Cash card has run out of value or is simply running low simply go to one of the Cougar Cash revalue machines. One is located around the corner from the Circulation Desk. Others are located in Behmler and the 24 hour computer lab in the Student Center. Insert the desired amount of cash. To purchase a new Cougar Cash Card insert a one-dollar bill. Before using it you must add value.

To print using your Cougar Cash Card chose "Print" from your "File" menu option and then pick "Laser" from the list of choices. You will then be prompted to name your print job. Your print job will be waiting at the Pharos Uniprint Station. There is one located in front of the Circulation Desk and another upstairs in the third floor Computer Lab. Other print stations are located im UMM Computer Services labs. Insert your Cougar Cash card and select the print job you wish to print. Press "Print" and retrieve your documents from the printer. Cost for each page is 5 cents for black-and-white, and $1.00 for color.

Cougar Cash value is non-refundable, so do not put more value on a card than you will need. If your Cougar Cash card or UMM U-Card with Cougar Cash value is damaged, and can no longer be used in the printer and copier card readers, bring it to the UMM Business Office (Behmler Hall, second floor) to see if it can be replaced.
