Student Employment at Briggs Library

Student Assistants play a vital role in the staffing of Briggs Library. Since the library is open 99 hours a week during the academic year, many people are needed to provide service to campus and Morris community library users. The library takes pride in efficient interlibrary loan service, careful collection maintenance and preservation of documents that tell UMM;s history and students play key roles in those areas as well. Students are invited to read about the various library departments that rely on student assistants in the list below. Also note that even though all positions may be currently filled, applications are welcome any time in the event that openings become available.

The library also welcomes conversations with students who are considering careers in the information science, library, museum studies or archival fields concerning internships, fellowships or student employment positions.

If you are interested in being considered for a library employment position, visit the Student Employment website. The library's openings will be listed among the Job Postings. Follow the instructions for applying online at the bottom of the job description.
