Holds and Recalls
Recalls can be placed on items that are currently checked out by another borrower and that have been checked out for at least 14 days. From SUMMON, simply click on the "recall" link option in the item record.
You will be prompted to log-in into Your Account. After you hit "Submit" your recall
request should appear in "Your Account". The immediate borrower will be notified of the shortened loan period by email and has 7 days to
return the recalled item. Items that are returned after the due date are subject to overdue fines.
Holds can only be placed by library personnel. If you are interested in placing a hold on a currently checked out item to fix
your place in the waiting que simply ask for assistance at the circulation desk. Someone will be glad to assist you.
