Microform Equipment

The library owns two microform reader/printers located on the main floor near the photocopiers. Each machine is equipped to read both microfiche and microfilm.

One of these machines, the Microform Scanner 300, has a computer attached which can be utilized to send images electronically through the UMM wireless network. Prints can be made to the Circulation Desk Cash Printer as well as a coin-operated printer on the older microform machine. If you need assistance please ask at the Reference or Circulation Desk. UMM personnel wishing to charge prints to departmental budgets are asked to bring their CUFS number and sign a log indicating number of prints made. In addition to the reader/printers on the main floor, there is a microfiche reader in the government documents area on the fourth floor.
