Rare Books

The University of Minnesota Briggs Library Rare Books Collection is located on the Fourth Floor of Briggs Library, along with the UMM Archives. The Rare Books collection consists of selected materials published before 1900. Because of age, rarity, and physical condition, many of the items do not circulate. Please check with a librarian for assistance using the Rare Book collection.

Note: During the summer of 2006 much of the Briggs Library general collection will be in transition. Please check with a librarian if you have any difficulty locating an item.
