Reserve For Students
Briggs Library has two main types of reserve items:
1. Reserve Desk Access (Print Reserves)
2. Electronic Access (Electronic Reserves)
Both are available as links in the left navigation bar on all library web pages.
Electronic Course Reserves make available articles and excerpts for class reading assignments. They are submitted by faculty.
In order to access click on Electronic Reserves and search by course name or instructor.
You will be prompted to type in a username (last name of instructor) and password (supplied by your instructor)
to access the electronic documents.
Print Course Reserves are held at the circulation desk and are available for check out for either two or
four hours. Fines are applicable on items not returned by the due time. To look up items click on Print Reserves.
Searches can be made by instructor name or class title. Verify if an items is available by clicking on the availability link on the right-hand
side.
Students are also invited to submit items for course reserves, either print or electronic, in connection with committees or organizations
they may be participating with. To submit an item please go to Course Reserve Services and
click on the appropriate form link.
