Rodney A. Briggs Library

Community patrons are welcome to visit and utilize our library and its services. We welcome all levels of involvement from infrequent visits for locating specific data to regular borrowing for recreational reading, from gathering local historical background from our archives and West Central Minnesota Historical Research Center to arranging for an information session for your organization’s program. We invite students from area schools to use our resources for assignments and projects.

Obtaining a Community Library Card is simple and free. Stop at the main circulation desk and complete a brief registration form. Materials can be checked out at the same time. Students under the age of 18 requesting a card need to have a parent or guardian’s signature before the registration is complete. The Rodney A Briggs Associates, our library friends’ group, offers ongoing participation opportunities.

Community patrons (with a Briggs Library generated paper library card) may renew items by bringing them into the library or by emailing LeAnn Dean. You will receive an email reply with the new due date or information that renewal is not possible.

Whatever your needs, be assured that we’re happy to see you and anxious to be of service. If you have any questions feel free to contact the library at 320-589-6175 or visit our library Staff Directory for a complete personnel listing.
