Student Collection Recommendations
There are two ways to recommend the purchase of library materials:

or
Request a yellow Library Materials Recommendation Form from the Library Office
What do YOU think the library should add to its collection?
The Library strives to provide a quality collection of materials
to support undergraduate instruction and research, and,
to a more limited extent, faculty research needs as well as representations
of popular culture. We can't do it alone, though. That's where you as a student
come in.
Let us know what's on your wish list. We can't make any promise, but we would
really like to hear from you. Fill out the online form above or ask for a Recommendation
Form form from the library office. Maybe there's a CD you think we just have
to have. Perhaps you just read a book for class or for pleasure that really
moved you. Do you have a favorite movie and want Briggs Library to include
it in the collection? Then make a recommendation!
Status of orders:
After a recommendation is accepted for purchase the item is ordered. It will appear in SUMMON with an "On Order" status
until processing has been completed and it is available for check-out. Recent
acquisitions are often placed in the "New Arrivals" display near the front
door of the library and are available for anyone who would like to check them
out.
