Patrick Chester
President

Patrick Chester is a senior Political Science major with an International Relations focus. Last year, Patrick was a member of MCSA's forum, a member of executive committee, and a Campus Assembly student representative. Additionally, Patrick was a member of International Relations Club, Asian Student Association, Black Student Union, Boffers, and was one of the founding members of the Coalition for Social Justice. Several goals that Patrick would like to accomplish this year include working with Food Service to create a student request day, creating a campus that is more accessible to those with limited mobility, and arranging a more convenient and less expensive bus route to the cities. He hopes to expand the membership of MCSA by showing students that they can make a real difference to future generations of students through their actions within MCSA.

Laura Thoma
Vice President for Academic Affairs

Laura Thoma is a senior at UMM. She is majoring in Chemistry and Spanish. Last year she was on Campus Assembly as a representative, while also serving as a curriculum committee member and a forum representative. She has also been involved in Chemistry Club, International Relations Club, Intramurals and Dance Ensemble. During her time as Vice President of Academic Affairs for MCSA she hopes to increase the involvement of the student body in MCSA and campus governance, focusing on increased involvement of students outside of MCSA's usual forum members. Additionally she hopes to ask students what they like (and don't like) about their current major programs, and see where there is room for improvement. Outside of UMM she is interested in playing sports, camping, and reading.

Shannon Juhnke
Vice President for Finance & Operations

Shannon Juhnke is a senior at UMM. She is an Economics major and Political Science minor. This is her first year on MCSA. Shannon hopes to work to ensure that money is allocated efficiently and knowledgably during UMM Tech Fee

Ashley Gaschk
Vice President for Student Services

Ashley Gaschk is majoring in English and American Studies. This is her third year at UMM. Besides MCSA, Ashley has also been involved with Campus Activities Council Concerts Committee, *The University Register*, the Minnesota Public Interest Research Group, New Student Orientation, and Campus Assembly. This year she hopes to see the strengthening of the Advisory Council to build student coalitions, a more visible and transparent MCSA, and increased Leadership Development for students. She would love to hear from anyone who has something to say about Student Services or anything about UMM.
