| This seminar introduces the various graphic and video formats commonly used on the world wide web. These formats include JPEG, GIF, PNG, Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format (PDF), and streaming video/audio media files. Discussion of file formats, computer software packages and the advantages and disadvantages of these formats will be discussed. |

| Photo and Image Editing - Using Adobe® Photoshop |

| This session will begin by covering the basic imaging terminology and introduce Adobe® Photoshop, the standard application program used in graphic design. Participants will first create a composite image from multiple images using various selection tools. Then participants will be introduced to more advanced tools and concepts of Photoshop, such as using layers, drawing and text tools, brushes, and effect filters. |

| Adding video and audio on the internet is increasing in popularity in the electronic classroom due to the inexpensive tools needed to create online content. This workshop will help you understand the basics of streaming video and audio, show you the tools to create streaming content, and will also give ideas on how to prepare your content for streaming on the internet. |
