UMM Chemistry Club celebrates National Chemistry Week
October 21-26

This year's theme is "Chemistry Keeps Us Clean"

The University of Minnesota, Morris American Chemical Society Student Affiliates group is going to perform some safe, simple and fun demonstrations to the public to help promote the idea that chemistry is not scary, and that not all chemicals are harmful - that in fact, many of the beneficial compounds we use on a daily basis are chemicals.

The chemistry demonstrations are taking place from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday, October 26th, with the demonstrations cycling every half-hour. This is an event that Willie's Super Valu has sponsored for several years by providing the space and the household chemicals necessary for these demonstrations.
