CNIA Hosts Storytime at the Library


The Circle of Nations Indian Association (CNIA) at the University of Minnesota, Morris, will celebrate November as Native American Awareness month.

As part of their celebration, the CNIA will host Storytime at the Library on Saturday, November 2nd. CNIA members will read stories and share activities with children from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the children's' section of the Morris Public Library. Tim Poore will again be translating the books using American Sign Language. Also, some of the CNIA members will be bringing a traditional Native American outfit for the children to look at.

Storytime at the Library is sponsored by the UMM TREC (Tutoring, Reading, Enabling Children) program. For more information, contact TREC office at 589-4394.
