The University of Minnesota, Morris Division of the Humanities presents student instrumental jazz groups in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, November 15th and 16th, in the Humanities Fire Arts Rectial Hall.
Cougar Jazz I and II, Jazz Ensemble II, in addition to seven different student jazz groups, will perform. Many of the student jazz groups will be performing student-composed music. The composers include Tim Phillips, Joe Martin, Casey Kavanaugh, Kevin Logan and Gadero.
Tickets are $3 for general admission, $1 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the Information Desk at the UMM Student Center or at the door. A portion of the proceeds from these performances will be donated to the HFA Phase II project.
