Nine student musicians at the University of Minnesota, Morris have been selected to perform in the annual Honors Recital, to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in Recital Hall of Humanities Fine Arts on the Morris campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
Student performers were selected by a panel of three distinguished judges for their outstanding solo performances during the 2002-03 academic year.
This year's honored performers are: Jason Burns, euphonium, Watertown; Erin Kaiser, clarinet, Plymouth; Lauren Gaugert, flute, Alexandria; Heidi Hendrickson, voice, Madison; Jessica Nelson, bassoon, Morris; Tara Salyards, voice, Winona; Terri Jo Schuft, piano, Stewart; Stephanie Seagren, flute, Sun Prairie, Wis.; and Tanya Taylor, voice, St. Paul.
Free parking, adjacent to the Humanities Fine Arts building, is available in the campus' North Parking Lot.
