"EESOME" 2011 Senior Art Exhibition features work by graduating studio art majors

“EESOME,” the 2011 Senior Art Exhibition, will be celebrated in the Humanities Fine Arts (HFA) Gallery on Thursday, April 21, with an opening reception from 7 until 9 p.m. The artists will be introduced at 7:30 p.m. The show runs through Commencement Day, May 14.
This year’s senior show features an assortment of media including sculpture, digital imaging, printmaking, drawing, painting, and mixed media. Pieces exhibited represent the culmination of studies in the Studio Art department and cover a broad range of subject matter.
Graduating artists are Dana Droog, Mobridge, South Dakota, Samantha Esguerra, Minneapolis, Lacey Granroos, Fridley, Christine Maxwell, Hancock, Sarianne Sve, Silver Bay, Joel Terry, St. Cloud, Jessica Thielen, Paynesville, and Allison Wegner, Winsted. Information on each artist and his/her work will be available at the exhibit.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and 1 until 4 p.m. on Saturday. Convenient parking is located in the North Lot. HFA Gallery visitors may park in visitor spaces during weekdays before 4:30 p.m. and throughout the lot after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends.
