Asking the Big Questions Explores Gun Violence

The first Asking the Big Questions discussion of the semester will take place on Tuesday, February 12, at 7 p.m. in the McGinnis Room of Rodney Briggs Library. The discussion will explore the topic of gun violence in the United States, answering questions regarding its prevalence, what can be done about it, and what precautions can be taken against it.

Speakers for this event will include Jennifer Lund, campus police lieutenant, Henry Fulda, assistant vice chancellor for student life, and Solomon Gashaw, associate professor of sociology.

All are welcome to attend the discussion. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact Peter Bremer, librarian.

Asking the Big Questions is a campus/community discussion group that focuses on important issues of the day. This event is co-sponsored by Briggs Library and the Sociology Discipline.
