Public Invited to Minimum Wage Conversation

Students from the University of Minnesota, Morris will host a conversation about the minimum wage for the Morris campus and community on Tuesday, December 3, from 6–7:30 p.m. in Humanities Fine Arts 6. Representatives Ryan Winkler and Jay McNamar, along with a panel of University faculty and staff, will present and moderate a discussion on the implications of the minimum wage in Minnesota and the Morris community.

This conversation is sponsored by the campus’s Minnesota Public Interest Research Group (MPIRG) chapter and Morris Feminists student organization. These groups were awarded student-initiated project funding from the Office of Community Engagement. Its mission includes encouraging engagement about challenging topics.
