Pride of the Prairie Local Foods Expo

Come join in a feast of Minnesota home-grown food and locally grown entertainment during The Pride of the Prairie Spring Local Foods Expo Thursday, March 1, at the University of Minnesota, Morris. The public is invited to attend.
Dinner will be served from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Food Service building. Sodexho Campus Services chef, Chris Serio, will create a wonderful "breakfast for dinner" feast, featuring pasta salad with fresh mozzarella cheese and basil, whole wheat pancakes with apple compote and whipped cream, country sausage scramble with potatoes and vegetables, beef tips with mushrooms, seven vegetable stew and more. Dining entertainment will be provided by HomeMade Jam, Eagan Heath and Brittany Stone.
The Farmer's Market, which was to have preceded the dinner at 2 p.m., has been cancelled due to the weather.
Tickets for the meal will be available at the door or in the Student Center lobby Monday through Thursday, Feb. 26 through March 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $10, off-campus students and children’s tickets are $6, children under five eat free.
