Brian Curtis named UMAC SID

The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference has named Brian Curtis as the next director of sports information. Curtis will replace current director Corey Borchardt, who has resigned.
Curtis is currently the director of sports information at the University of Minnesota, Morris and will remain in his current role with UMM, while taking on the additional conference responsibilities. Curtis has been the SID at UMM since August 2000.
Prior to arriving at UMM, Curtis was involved with media-based work, serving over 18 years in radio, occupying positions of sports director and an on-air announcer at stations in Fargo, Grafton and Mayville, N.D., and Redwood Falls and Morris, Minn. He received the Award of Merit in radio from the North Dakota High School Coaches Association in 1991.
