State of the U broadcast March 6

The public is invited to the campus of the University of Minnesota, Morris to view a broadcast of the annual State of the University address.

University of Minnesota President Robert Bruininks will give the address, which will be broadcast from the Twin Cities campus via interactive television to all University campuses. At UMM, the address can be viewed in the Science Auditorium, Room 2950 Science, beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 6.

The speech, "The Challenge of Change," will address the attributes of the University of Minnesota as a top public research university, and the renewal of the entrepreneurial spirit to meet the challenges of the future. The speech will also highlight the university's long partnership with the state of Minnesota and its crucial role in the state's future.

Following the address, there will be time allotted for questions, during which members of the audiences from all University campuses may ask questions of President Bruininks.
