International students welcomed to campus

It was a most interesting campus meet-and-greet on Friday, September 19, 2008 when the International Student Association and Office of International Programs sponsored a fun, well-attended reception for University of Minnesota, Morris international scholars.
The event, held in the Multi-Ethnic Resource Center Lounge, served as an opportunity for the campus community to learn more about the 66 international students with whom we are privileged to study this year at UMM. Faculty, staff, and students gathered to talk and to get to know UMM international students who represent 15 different countries: China, Ghana, Canada, Nigeria, Korea, Singapore, India, France, Aruba, Malaysia, Kenya, Moldova, the Netherlands, Japan, and Taiwan.
