Posted by Judy Korn on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010

University of Minnesota, Morris dance faculty and student choreographers will present a showcase of their work on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in Edson Auditorium in the Student Center.

“You are invited to the dance!” says Victoria Olender, dance teaching specialist in the Division of the Humanities. “Please come and view the premiere of a piece created by dance faculty for the American College Dance Festival, enjoy site-specific work by student choreographers, be amazed by the Morris Belly Dancers, and participate in a swing dance lesson!”

Tickets for the show are $4 for children and students and $6 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Ten percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to Haiti earthquake relief efforts.
