One Stop Announcements

The difference between the student account and the bill can be confusing. Check out the chart below to make sure you find what you need!
Student Account
This is where you can view each transaction on your account for each term (ie. books charged, amount you paid toward your account, late fees, etc.). Your account is updated nightly.
View/Pay Bill
This page is where you can login to view what you owe as of the most recent billing date. Your bill is updated on each billing date and will not reflect any changes made to your account until the next bill is generated.
Parent/Guest to view your account
This is where you set up a parent or guest to view your student account. You can also give them view access to other parts of your records as well. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR OWN ID AND PASSWORD TO ANYONE, INCLUDING YOUR PARENTS! You have the power to revoke or change or add access to each part of your record at any time. This is NOT where you give someone access to view/pay your bill.
Authorized user to view/pay your bill
Through this page, you can authorize another person to view or pay your bill. It's important to note that anyone you authorize is set up by you with their own login ID and password. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR OWN ID AND PASSWORD TO ANYONE, INCLUDING YOUR PARENTS! You have the power to revoke or change or add access to your bill at any time. This includes changing the password for this person, if needed. You CANNOT grant access to any other part of your record through this system.
Parents, Guests, and Authorized Users: Please login through the Parent Page.

Check Financial Aid Status
This page will allow you to check your financial aid status. Follow your financial aid through the six steps from application to payment. You will need to click on the links to view current tasks.

Direct Deposit
Set up, change, or delete a bank account to which your University paycheck and any student account balance will be deposited automatically.

Health Insurance
View what you chose for health/hospitalization insurance (you either provided your insurance company name and policy number or chose to buy University insurance) when you registered. You can also update your choice through the link above.

Holds
Clear any holds that you may have on your record at the appropriate office. A hold might be on your record for a variety of reasons: overdue tuition, library fines, meet with your advisor, etc.

Billing Schedule
See the four billing dates, due dates, and when late fees will be applied.

Refund Schedule
See the refund dates for full semester and half semester classes.

Education Tax Benefits
This page is a resource for University of Minnesota students and their parents who may be eligible for education related tax benefits. It also includes info about form 1098-T.
