Parent/Guest View Access

This is where you can give view only access of your student information/records to another person, such as your parents, spouse, etc. You can grant access to any of these records:

- Enrollment Summary
- Financial Aid Awards
- Financial Aid Status
- Grades
- Holds
- Student Account

Granting Parent/Guest View Access
You must be an enrolled student at a University of Minnesota campus to use this service. You can invite another person to be a guest viewer via an email generated within the Parent/Guest Access application. Your guest responds by clicking an encoded link within the email. This process associates your student record with your guest viewer and provides the guest viewer with a secure U of M Internet ID and password. You will receive email notification when this step has been completed and then be able to grant specific viewing rights to one or more of the six subject areas of your student record. You are able to discontinue or change access to your record at any time.

Student Information Release Authorization Form
If you would like to authorize the University to talk with and/or be able to send information about your record to a specific person, then you should use this form, especially if the person you would like to designate does not have internet access. A separate form must be filled out for each individual. Forms can be submitted any time. There is no expiration on this form. To subsequently cancel access for a particular individual, you will need to submit a written request to the University of Minnesota Morris, Office of the Registrar, 212 Behmler Hall, 600 E 4th Street, Morris, MN 56267-2132. NOTE: This is different than the online Parent/Guest View Access.
