The Morris Community & UMM

The City of Morris and UMM are committed to a partnership that helps students feel at home in the Morris community.  This partnership begins early in the school year with a free community picnic to welcome new and returning college students.  This fun social event is put on by the City of Morris at the East Side Park (just a short walk from campus).  The partnership continues throughout the years and it is not uncommon for UMM students to come to be known by name in the community. So whether your student is golfing at Pomme De Terre, biking around the river, or picking up some milk at Willie's SuperValu, the members of the Morris community will greet them with a warm, hello!
