Academic Assistance

The Academic Assistance Center provides services to help you improve your study skills and stay ahead in your classes, including free peer tutoring and study groups, individual advising on study skills, and study skills courses to help you master learning in a college setting. This office also offers free help such as the Writing Room, a place where students can have their papers read before they turn them in. You will also find informal help with your math and science homework in the Math and Science Room on select days.

Disability Services

If you have a disability that needs attention, our Disability Services Office provides technology and services to help you succeed at UMM. The staff of Disability Services will determine appropriate accommodations for your disability according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is also the office where students with IEPs or 509 forms from High School will start if they have questions about students with special needs. Disibility Services Homepage
