Cost of Education

In 2007, UMM was recognized as an "America's Best Value College" by The Princeton Review.  Value is an important concept to keep in mind during the college search.  It is essential that you look beyond the simple price tag of each school and ask yourself, “What am I really getting for my money at this insitituion?”  At UMM, we strive to give you the best education that money can buy.  The end result?  A high quality liberal arts education that is sought after by employers and graduate schools, a reputable U of M degree, and extremely available academic enrichment opportunities such as undergraduate reaserach and study abroad.

If you are looking for the detailed break down of UMM's cost of education, the table below will help.  The tuition figure given below is calculated based on the cost of 26 credits for the academic year.  UMM offers students a tuition band at the 13 credit per semester level.  What does that mean for you?  You are charged by the credit for the courses you take, through 13 credits.  Any credits you take over that level are free.  This becomes a great cost savings for you, as most students will take an average of 15 credits per semester in order to meet the 120 credit requirement and graduate in 4 years.
