Scholarships at UMM

UMM offers several different types of scholarships for incoming first year and transfer students.  The different types of scholarships are broken into categories below to help you find the awards for which you may qualify. 

Automatic Scholarships:

Awards range from full tuition to $1,000 per year based on high school class rank, National Merit status, or cumulative GPA for transfer students.  Most of these scholarships are awarded upon admission to UMM.  Visit this page to learn more.

Competitive Scholarships:

These awards range from full tuition to $5,000 per year based on several different criteria, including an essay.  Students must complete the Application for Admission and Competitive Scholarship Supplement by December 15, 2007 in order to be eligible.  To learn more about each of these awards and the necessary application requirements, visit this page.  Please note that only freshman students are eligible for these awards. 

Other Scholarships:

Many of these awards are available to students because of the generous donations of UMM alumni and friends.  Eligibility can vary based on each of the awards.  Students must complete their Application for Admission and the Competitive Scholarship Supplement by December 15, 2007 to receive priority consideration for these awards.  To learn more about the available scholarships and eligibility criteria, visit this page.
