Pre-Physical Therapy
UMM students planning to apply to a master or doctor of physical therapy program must complete a bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission. Undergraduate coursework should include two biology courses with labs; elementary anatomy; human physiology; two terms of inorganic chemistry with labs; two terms of introductory physics; one general psychology course; one abnormal psychology course; one course in medical terminology; statistics to include descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and analysis of variance; one computer applications course that presents information on word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs, as well as calculus.

Morris has outstanding placement rates in physical therapy programs. Some reasons for this are the abundance of opportunities for independent research in applicable areas of study, award winning faculty who are familiar with physical therapy school entrance requirements, and small class sizes that allow students to fully appreciate the academic concepts presented.
