Bob Johannes from Hancock joined host Sue Gooch to dish the dirt on salad. They discussed the different ways salad can be
utilized in meals, various growing techniques, and the varied items that can be used in a salad.
Salad items shown and discussed: Red leaf lettuce, ridicio (type of chicory), baby buck choy leaf, curly endive,
mezuna, spinach- purslain and lens borders.
Seeds: Radishes- long white and red round, chicory- tall, heading and small green, johnny jump-ups.
