Guest Cindy Ash of the American Phytopathological Society and host Sue Gooch discussed
plant diseases this week. They covered a wide variety of plant problems, including fungi
and mold, and what can be done to avoid and treat them. Cindy even showed off a couple of
culinary delights that are caused by plant disease--Smokey Mais Mushroom (from corn smut),
and a sweet wine that is made from gray mold on grapes.
