The Tip-of-the Week is a weekly instructional "how-to" segment on Prairie Yard and Garden. The Tip-of-the-Week is a two to three minute show segment. Various topics on the segment include; how to read the label on a fertilizer bag, how to make raised beds, and how to use a portable compost bin. There are a wide variety of gardening problem solving tips, exciting hands-on projects and helpful gardening advice which is described on the tip-of-the-week segment.
