A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris, Chad Braegelmann comes back to UMM to serve as the Intramural Coordinator and Head Women’s Volleyball Coach.
Braegelmann served as the Intramural Coordinator for five years at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H. and was also the Club Sports Coordinator for one year. As the Head Women's Volleyball coach at Colby-Sawyer for seven years, Braegelmann's teams compiled a 54-9 record in conference play, winning two conference championships and twice advancing to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
Braegelmann received bachelor of arts degrees in management and sports management and minored in economics from UMM in 2000. He earned his master's degree from Northern State University in 2001. As a UMM student he served as a student assistant coach for the Cougar women’s volleyball team and competed with the men’s club volleyball team against college and university club teams from across the Upper Midwest.
Braegelmann is married to Natalie (Zierden) Braegelmann, also a UMM graduate, and they reside in Morris with their four sons, Tyler (6), Riley (4), Calvin (2) and Kolby (0). |
