Living on campus will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your college life. At the University of Minnesota, Morris, more than 90 percent of first year students choose to live on campus. And almost half of the entire student population lives on campus each year.

Studies show that students who live on campus are more likely to get involved and learn valuable social, educational and leadership skills. Involvement helps create a feeling of ownership and belonging. As a result, students who live on campus typically achieve higher grade point averages than their off-campus peers and are 12 percent more likely to graduate from college than other students.

When asked about their Morris experience, new students most commonly respond, “I love my floor!” This is often followed by, “I can't believe how much fun we have hanging out and doing things together.”
