Residential Life

One of the most rewarding experiences of your college life

At the University of Minnesota Morris, more than 90 percent of first-year students choose to live on campus. The Office of Residential Life is committed to creating a positive residential living experience—a vital complement to Morris's academic programs.

Studies show that students who live on campus are more likely to get involved and learn valuable social, educational, and leadership skills. Involvement helps create a feeling of ownership and belonging. Students who live on campus typically achieve higher grade point averages than their off-campus peers and are 12 percent more likely to graduate from college than other students.

When asked about their Morris experience, new students commonly respond, "I love my floor!" This is often followed by, "I can't believe how much fun we have hanging out and doing things together."
