UMM Installment Payment Plan

One of the options for paying your bill is the installment plan. If you choose this option, you are required to pay 1/3 of your bill on each of the first three due dates. If you choose this plan, you will be charged a $10 installment plan fee for each payment. If you fail to make your minimum payment, you are no longer eligible for the installment plan and will be assessed the $20 late fee each time bills are produced. If you do not choose to be on the installment plan, your balance is due in full on the first due date.

Here is another way to look at it:

• 1/3 of the bill is due on or before the due date on the first billing statement
• 1/2 of the remainder of the bill plus $10 is due on or before the due date printed on the second billing statement.
• The remainder of the bill plus $10 is due on or before the due date printed on the third billing statement.
• There is a late fee of $20 charged for every missed payment.

Late Fees

A late fee of $20 will be charged to any account if the minimum balance printed on the bill is not received by the due date printed on the bill. If you are on the installment plan and fail to make your minimum payment, you will be charged the $10 installment plan fee and the $20 late fee for not paying the minimum amount due.
