Our Mission
The purpose of Peer Health Educators is to educate and inform the University of Minnesota, Morris campus about physical, mental, and sexual health in order to aid students in making more informed decisions.
Peer Health Educators is also dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for peer counseling, referrals, and health related research.
In addition to holding open office hours in the Wellness Center, where students can get health-related research materials, peer couseling, and free condoms. Peer Health Educators also provides a number of floor programs, educational activities such as National Smoke Out Day, AIDS Awareness Day, the Wellness Fair, and hosts a health and wellness related speaker each year at no cost to students. |
