Study Skills Quiz

If you're not happy with your grades, it can be difficult to know exactly what the problem is or what to do about it. This quiz will help you:

  • figure out why you may have difficulties in your classes.
  • decide what services will get you back on track.

Decide how much you agree with each of the following statements and give yourself a score. One means you almost never agree with the statement and 5 means you almost always do. Total your scores and check in the "How to Read My Score" to determine what services are right for you.

If your score is . . . . .

  • 94-105: you have good study habits. If you still aren't earning satisfactory grades, consult the Academic Assistance Center Staff.
  • 84-93: Consider getting a tutor, attending study table or taking advantage of one-on-one academic counseling. You may be struggling in one or two key areas and some specific instruction will set you back on the right path.
  • Below 83: Consider enrolling in the Learning to Learn Study Skills course, or making an appointment with the AAC staff. There are many easy to learn study techniques that can help you
