Welcome to the Academic Assistance Center (AAC)
Located in the Briggs Library, Room 328 320-589-6179
The AAC's mission is to provide UMM students with the help they need
to be
successful in their courses. Over half of the students at
UMM take advantage of at least one of the services offered through the
AAC. Services include small-group tutoring, one-on-one
academic counseling and drop-in help rooms. The Center hires about 50
tutors each year from a wide variety of disciplines-- from
calculus to music. All services are free to registered students.

One-on-one Academic Counseling
Many students benefit from a one-on-one visit with a member of the Academic Assistance Center Staff or a Study Skills tutor.
Students who have questions or require assistance with learning strategies can schedule an appointment with an academic specialist by calling 320-589-6179.
