AppointmentsAppointments are not required, but if you think your concern will require more than a short visit to Health Service, an appointment is strongly recommended.Mornings: A physician from the Stevens Community Medical Center is available in Health Service from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on regular class days and during finals week. Afternoons: Students may consult with the nurse. Students needing immediate medical attention by a physician during the afternoon will be referred by Health Service personnel to the Stevens Community Medical Center. If referral has been obtained, no additional charges will be made to the student for office calls rendered there. Students seen at the Stevens Community Medical Center without a Health Service referral will be charged for services rendered at the Stevens Community Medical Center rates. Note: SCMC Lab and X-ray charges must be paid for by student insurance. |
