In Accordance with the University of Minnesota grading policy, withdrawal from a course is not allowed after the ninth week of the semester except for extenuating circumstances. Supporting documentation must be present. Students may process a discretionary withdrawal for ONE COURSE ONLY after the deadline with a W. This discretionary withdrawal may be used only once during a student's enrollment at the University of Minnesota and must be requested on or before the last day of instruction.
