APAS stands for Academic Progress Audit System. It is a computerized report which provides information about completing degree and licensure requirements.

The University of Minnesota uses the DARS software licenced from a suite of education software provided by Red Lantern for managing APAS.

One of the most important tools we offer to stay on track for graduation is this degree audit. Students should note that you can not graduate until your APAS reports that you have met all requirements.

Look at APAS prior to registering for classes to see what requirements need to be completed and again after registration to see how the new classes actually do meet requirements.
